This was a product mandate inside a fintech payments company: take white-label crypto acceptance from a build to something a multi-location operator could run.
What I did
I headed product and development and directed a 40-developer delivery of a multi-location crypto payments platform spanning Clover POS, Android, centralized controls, fiat settlement and enterprise compliance monitoring. The mandate ran concurrent with executive roles.
How it felt
It felt like product ownership in the strict sense: architecture, delivery, compliance and the merchants who had to live with the result.
The challenges
Yes. Crypto acceptance is easy to demo and hard to operate across locations with fiat settlement and enterprise monitoring attached.
