This is where I progressed into leading the systems a trading and procurement group actually runs on: SAP, Ariba, automation and the numbers that follow.

What I did

I headed IT and directed the SAP ERP / Ariba migration, procurement automation and real-time analytics. The work reduced procurement errors by ~40%, improved compliance outcomes by ~25%, reduced downtime by ~20% and cut storage costs by ~20% through AWS/Azure work.

How it felt

It felt like earning the seat: first the systems, then the leadership of the migration those systems required.

The challenges

Yes. ERP and procurement automation only count if the errors, the compliance and the downtime move.
