SWIFT17 asked for a managing director who could sit inside a family-office and real-estate group and make the technology actually move.

What I did

I directed IT operations, architecture, developer teams, internal and commercial platform development, security posture and cross-functional technology delivery for the Frankfurt entity. The mandate ran in parallel with founder and product work: a portfolio pattern, not a hand-off.

How it felt

It felt like being trusted with the inside of a house that was not mine: the systems, the security, and the platforms the family office needed to keep operating.

The challenges

Yes. The challenge was holding a Geschäftsführer mandate in Frankfurt without dropping the concurrent founder and product work.
