Vitacheck and Certyfly sat at a strange intersection: PCR testing, luxury hotels, and the security bar that health data demands.
What I did
As Vice President Technology I directed the digital-health product and oversaw a scalable AWS booking platform, with PCR testing integrated to hotel systems through secure APIs. I owned the HIPAA/GDPR security posture and supported partnerships with 25+ luxury London hotels.
How it felt
It felt urgent and careful at the same time. Health data in a hospitality setting does not forgive a casual integration.
The challenges
Yes. The work was challenging because the hotels needed speed and the health data needed a regulated posture.
